Hi there, I am working with a Wacom 22HD Pen Display. It is configured as a secondary extended monitor. Here is the issue: The tablet should recognize the pen/stylus as well as finger touch.

It’s great that the tablet comes with a selection of nibs ensuring longevity to the kit (before you need to buy new nibs) and allowing a bit of experimentation with different drawing feels. The tablet comes with a set of buttons on its right and left (also to accommodate right and left-handed users) that are completely customizable and offer quick access to functions that you use often such as ‘undo/redo’, ‘save’, ‘zoom in/out’ etc.

It won’t be natural at start for sure! But in my opinion, it’s worth it. You will save a lot of time. Conclusion about the touch option The tablet can detect the presence of the pen few cm from the screen. When detected, the touch option is automatically deactivated. It is quite smart.

Oh god, the price. If you're looking at the pricetag and flinch, go with a smaller model. I can see this being used professionally, no problem, but if you're in the process of learning (as I am) and the $2k+ price makes you think twice about it, dont get it. I say this because this isnt the piece of equipment that you use to learn on, this is something that you produce with. Ill say it again, I was -extremely fortunate- to be in a position where I could afford this Cintiq, so I got it. If circumstances were different, I would have gone a different direction with a different model. Don't break yourself in getting this device if you aren't justifying it with making income by using it.
